A grassroots late-summer tradition that brings Crystal Lake neighbors together through creativity, friendly competition, and shoreline celebration.
The Crystal Lake Boat Parade held its inaugural run in late August 2024. Organized by local residents, the event was created to celebrate the end of summer and strengthen the community around the shoreline.

Participants are encouraged to design unique themes and décor. Boats complete multiple laps around the 76-acre lake so residents viewing from docks and shorelines can enjoy each entry.
Favorites are selected by community vote. In the inaugural year, first place was awarded to a family entry featuring a “Bubblebath” theme.
Once the on-water procession ends, the event transitions into a social gathering with photos and awards, with past celebrations hosted near Pleasant Valley Farm and Vineyard.
